HAJJAH March 03. 2023 (Saba)- The community's contribution in Hajjah province culminated in the implementation of 55 initiatives in the field of roads with more than one billion and 800 million riyals, within the framework of the second phase of the initiatives supported by the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit at the Ministry of Finance.
The state of popular momentum in the implementation of community initiatives reflected the directives of the revolution leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the head of the Supreme Political Council, and the National Salvation Government in activating the community role in various fields, including road projects.
Community interaction in the implementation of the initiatives constituted a national painting to move towards the implementation of the renaissance project launched by the martyr President Saleh al-Sammad under the slogan "A hand that protects ... a hand that builds", in addition to that it reflects, at the same time, the growing societal awareness and sense of responsibility in the active participation to support the efforts of the state in the construction and development process.
Community initiatives vary between paving, expansion, surveying and building retaining walls with a length of 65 kilometers and 938 meters, with a width ranging between 3-8 meters, at a total cost of more than one billion and 800 million riyals.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the governor of Hajjah, Hilal al-Soufi, said that the community efforts in the governorate's directorates have made great strides in the construction and development process, in response to the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the head of the Supreme Political Council in self-reliance.
Also, he considered the praise of the revolution leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, in his speech on the anniversary of the martyr President Saleh al-Sammad for the governorate's experience in community initiatives, a medal on the forehead of the people of the governorate, and an incentive to integrate efforts to contribute to supporting the state's efforts in construction and development.
While a report issued by the Initiatives Department in the governorate, of which the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) received a copy, indicated that work is underway in full swing in the implementation of 24 initiatives in the Mubin district, eight in Al-Mahabsha and six in the province center.
The report referred to the implementation of three initiatives in Al-Muftah, three in Al-Maghraba, two initiatives in Bani Qais, and the same in rural Hajjah, as well as two initiatives in Ghafl Shammar, the same in Kushar, one in Khairan Al-Muharraq, another in Kahlan Afar, and an initiative in Shars.
According to the report, the rest of the initiatives were divided between incision, expansion, surveying, leveling, paving, surveying and expansion, in the province center, Hajjah and Kashar countryside, Bani Qais, Al-Maghraba, Mubin, Kahlan, Afar and Al-Miftah, with a length of 41,327 meters.
