GAZA, Sep. 23 (Saba) -The Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine praised the great Yemeni development demonstrated by the majestic military and security parade in capital, Sana'a, to celebrate the 8th anniversary of the glorious September 21 revolution. The movement's spokesman, Tariq Salmi, said in an exclusive interview with the Yemeni News Agency (Saba): His movement blesses the qualitative development in the missile system of the Yemeni army.
He pointed out that the increase in Yemeni military power indicates the solidity of the Yemeni position in the face of the Zionist project and the project of global arrogance, which aims to liquidate the Palestinian cause and divide the region.
Selmi added: "Yemen is trying, through the new weapons and missile systems, to send a media and field message that it is ready to confront hostile projects, which worries and confuses the Zionist enemy, which does not want any Arab country to develop or advance."
He continued, "The Zionist enemy wants to kill Arab countries in their infancy, but today Yemen has become a real model to be followed in the accumulation and preparation of the Yemeni army and people to face these dangers that beset the nation."
The spokesman for the Islamic Jihad stressed that naming the "Quds 3" missile, the longest-range and most accurate, indicates that Jerusalem resides in the minds and hearts of the Yemeni people, adding: "This represents for us, as Palestinians, an important support and backing in the face of the Zionist enemy, which aims to fragment the nation, confiscate its resources, and desecrate Palestinian and Islamic sanctities."
Salmi noted that the Jihad Movement blesses the step of developing Yemeni military capabilities and supports taking more steps at all levels until the occupation is defeated and the land liberated.
The Yemeni armed forces had displayed dozens of advanced missile systems, naval weapons and air defenses manufactured by the Military Industrialization Authority, as well as naval weapons, missiles, boats, and modern naval cruisers produced by the Yemeni Military Industries Authority.
The parade also included the Quds 3 missile system, which is a winged missile manufactured by Yemeni Military Industries Authority, intended to protect Jerusalem and within the Jerusalem equation, as well as several systems for multiple generations of unmanned warplanes, including Waed plane, which has a range of more than 2500 km.
