SANA'A Sep. 21 (Saba) - His Excellency, Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Security, witnessed on Wednesday in the capital Sana'a the majestic youth military and security parade in celebration of the eighth anniversary of the September 21 revolution.

His Excellency the President arrived at al-Sabeen Square aboard an armored vehicle belonging to the armed forces, one of the vehicles that the heroes of the armed forces seized it from the war field.
His Excellency, accompanied by the Minister of Defense, Major General Mohammed al-Atifi, before the start of the presentation to the force ready for the parade, saluted all the combat formations.
The national music and the national anthem were played upon President zl-Mashat's arrival at zl-Sabaeen Square, then His Excellency went to lay a wreath at the tomb of the martyr President Saleh al-Sammad and his companions, then went to the parade stage.
The military parade, held on the occasion of the eighth anniversary of the September 21 revolution, is the largest of the armed forces in Yemen.
The military parade began with carnival performances on this national occasion, in the presence of members of the Supreme Political Council, presidents of parliaments, ministers, judiciary, Shura Council and Supreme Court, a number of members of parliaments, ministers and Shura, heads of government bodies and institutions and a large public presence.
