SANA'A, Sep. 09 (Saba) - The Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) called on the aggression coalition to expedite the release of the seized fuel ships.
The company's official spokesman Issam al-Mutawakil explained that 4 fuel ships, which were being held by the US-Saudi aggression coalition, arrived at Hodeida port, which were 2 diesel ships and 2 Mazut ships.
"We advise the aggression coalition to take advantage of the temporary truce, respect the agreement, and expedite the entry of the remaining seized vessels," Al-Mutawakil said.
The fuel ships, which have entered the port of Hodeida since the beginning of the temporary truce are only 37 out of 54 ships that have been agreed upon.
Al-Mutawakil called on the United Nations to exercise responsibility to stop the continued piracy of fuel vessels, and to allow their entry into Hodeida port, saying that the detention of the fuel ships is worsening the people's suffering.
