MARIB, July 26 (Saba) - A child drowned on Tuesday in a torrential rain in Majzar district of Marib province.
A local official said the eight-year-old child, Faraj Hamad al-Tahshali, drowned in one of the torrential water pools in the district.
He called on citizens to be careful and avoid floodways, valleys that are filled with water, especially in the rainy season.
Various areas of Marib province have witnessed torrential rains which caused damage to the citizens' farms and houses.
