The operation was carried out with a number of ballistic missiles and 25 drones, Army's spokesman Yahya Sarie said in a statement.

The Ministry of Defense, King Khalid Airport and other military sites in the capital of the Saudi enemy, Riyadh, were hit with 6 of Sammad-3 type drones and some of Zulfiqar missiles.

Sarie stated that 6 of Sammad-2 and 3 type drones targeted King Fahd Air Base in Taif city and Aramco company in Jeddah city.

He added that 5 of Sammad-1 and 2 type drones targeted several military sites in the regions of Abha, Jizan and Asir.

Important military sites in the regions of Abha, Jizan and Najran were struck with 8 of Qasef-2K type drones and dozens of ballistic missiles.

The army called upon all Saudi citizens and residents to stay away from the military areas and sites, as they have become legitimate targets, said Sarie.

He accentuated that the armed forces will escalate their operations as long as the enemy does, saying that is our legitimate right to defend the people and the country.
