SANA'A, Aug. 11 (Saba) - President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat discussed with Mayor of the Capital Hamoud Obad and Mayor First Deputy Khaled al-Madani the possible ways to address the road damage caused by rain and torrents.

 

The meeting discussed on Tuesday ways to address road damage, as well as the completion of the project of the flood early warning system in Sana'a, street lighting, and cleanliness.

 

The meeting reviewed the capital's efforts to reduce flood damage and repair some streets, as well as efforts to open rainwater drainage channels.

 

President Al-Mashat directed the capital's officials to light the main streets and follow up on the completion of the sewage project for the Shaher valley in the Maeen district.

 

He urged greater efforts in the fields of improvement, cleanliness, paving, and planting trees on the streets in the capital.

 

The President directed to complete the purchase of hygiene equipment and the purchase of the necessary equipment for the road maintenance unit.
