SANA'A, May 09 (Saba) – President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat sent on Sunday a congratulatory cable to the President of the European Commission (EC), Ursula von der Leyen.
In the cable, President Al-Mashat congratulated Leyen on the occasion of the anniversary of the founding of the European Union.
On 9 May, the Member States of the European Union celebrate Europe Day. This date was chosen to mark the anniversary of the Schuman Declaration, considered to be the founding act of the European Union and one of the symbols of Europe.
