Tahama Org. condemns murder of child in Hodeidah
[06/August/2020]

SANAA, Aug. 6 (Saba) - Tahama Organization for Human Rights, Development, and Human Heritage has condemned the continuation of the aggression crimes,  most recently the murder of a 12-year-old disabled child, Ma'atouq, in the besieged district of al-in Hodeidah province.

In a statement Saba got a copy of it,  the organization said that the aggression forces impose a complete siege on the city of al-Durhaihemi before two years and on, in which civilians are starving to death in the light of a complete inability of the United Nations and its mission in Hodeidah in lifting the blockade and allow the introduction of food convoys provided by the local authority in Hodeidah and the branch of the Supreme Council for the Administration and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.

The tragedy of Ma'atouq's death reflects the cases of hundreds of thousands of children in Yemen who have been deprived of their human right to food, treatment, and life, the statement said.

The statement held the United Nations and all its bodies moral, historical and criminal responsible for the unjustified silence of all these crimes and the practices of removing the aggression states from the list of shame for child killers, which motivated the aggression to continue their crimes against civilians, especially the most vulnerable groups, women and children.

The statement called on all national and international organizations, the peoples of the free world and civil society organizations to condemn these crimes, support the Yemeni people,  pressure the governments of the aggression countries, the United Nations' bodies to stop crimes against Yemen and its people, prevent the export of arms to aggression countries, lift the blockade, allow access to food, medicine, and oil derivatives vessels, open Sanaa International Airport, and provide redress for victims and avoid impunity for the perpetrators.
