AMRAN, Aug. 3 (Saba) - The Director of the Branch of the Supreme Council for the Administration and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation in Amran province Hamyar al-Sa'ar has launched a project for the distribution of sacrificial meat for the number of four thousand and 200 families implemented by the Islamic Relief Organization.
In the inauguration on Sunday, al-Sa'ar pointed out the importance of implementing such projects to support poor families and people with special needs, praising the efforts of the Islamic Relief Organization and its societal contribution, especially in light of the difficult circumstances the country is going through.
He called on charitable organizations in the province to adopt such charitable projects so as to extend a helping hand to the poor and the needy, and to see their needs, especially on the blessed Eid Al-Adha.
The Director of the Office of Relief Organization in Amran Dr. Abdullah al- Sheqaqi explained that the project for the distribution of sacrificial meat comes within the framework of the annual projects implemented by the organization.
Al-Sheqaqi affirmed the organization’s keenness to help poor families and people with special needs in coordination with the branch of the Supreme Council for the Administration and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
