SANAA, May 27 (Saba) - The Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council sent a message of condolence on the death of Sheikh Ali bin Ali Saleh Alwan, Sheikh al-Haid in al-Ajabar valley in Sanhan district in Sanaa province, after incurable disease he suffered from, and after a life full of giving in the national action.
In the condolence telegram he sent to the brother of the deceased Major General Mabkhout Ali Alwan, the son of the deceased Sheikh Yahya Ali Alwan, all his brothers, all Alwan's family members, and all people in the district, the President praised the virtues of the deceased, who were among the finest Sheikhs and dignitaries of Sanhan as he has a great struggle balance in which he served the country and society.
He pointed out Sheikh Ali Alwan was a pioneer in dealing with tribal and social situations and endeavoring to reconcile differences, rectify behavior among the people.
The President said Alwan's departure is a loss for Sanhan tribe in particular, the province of Sanaa and the homeland in general.
