TAIZ, Feb. 29 (Saba) - Thousands of worshipers from several provinces gathered on Friday at Al-Janad Mosque in al-Hoban district of Taiz province to mark the first Friday of Rajab month, the anniversary of the Yemeni people's convert to Islam.

In the event, which was attended by governors of Ibb and Dhalea provinces, Governor of Taiz province Saleem al-Mughallis indicated that the great attendance at the Al-Janad Mosque reflects the Yemenis’ pride of their faith identity and the extent of their joy with this anniversary.

A number of sheikhs, notables and academicians from several provinces participated in the event.
