35 killed, 23 injured, most of them children, result of aggression crime in Jawf : Health Ministry
[18/February/2020]

SANAA, Feb. 18 (Saba) – According to the Ministry of Health, the final toll of the US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition's crime in al-Maslub district in Jawf province is 58 killed and injured, most of them children.

Ministry spokesman Dr. Yousef al-Hadari told Saba that the number of martyrs was 35, including 26 children, while 23 were injured, including 18 children.

The Coalition of Aggression fighter jet targeted citizens sleeping in their homes with a number of raids during the early hours of Saturday morning, he said.

He condemned the continued aggression coalition in committing massacres against the children, women of Yemen in every village, district and province in the silence of the Security Council, the United Nations and the international community.

He said the international silence over these crimes has encouraged the Coalition of Aggression to commit this crime, which has claimed the lives of dozens of children and women.

"We do not know what the legal and humanitarian justification on which the United Nations is based in its silence on such crimes, but it is a partner in crimes, aggression and siege, even if it does not disclose it," he said.

The ministry's spokesman blamed the United Nations for the humanitarian and moral responsibility for the bloodshed of the coalition of aggression in Yemen.

He called on the international community, organizations and every free world to speak out to condemn and denounce these crimes and to call for the perpetrators to be brought to court for their punishment.

He also called for the lifting of the embargo against Yemen and an end to the aggression. The health disaster in particular and the humanitarian disaster caused by the aggression affected all Yemenis and children in particular.
