SANAA, Jan. 20 (Saba) - Academicians and economists on Wednesday called for activating the strategic planning, reforming the scientific structure, and creating effective management and research centers to move the private sector in Yemen from a recession to a stage of self-sufficiency.
In a scientific symposium organized by Al-Andalus University for Science and Technology under the title "The Scientific Structure of Private Sector in Yemen", they stressed the role of strategic planning in protecting commercial and economic establishments and contributing to finding adequate reserves of industrial and commercial products.
The participants stressed the necessity of activating strategic planning for the individual, family, society, economic establishments and institutions, and turning to establishing national joint-stock companies in all fields.
They called for paying attention to the vocational training by increasing spending on the quality of education and research during the basic stages of education, as well as the investment in human resources.
