SANAA, Nov. 18 (Saba) - Minister of Finance Sharafuddin Ali al-Kohlani and Minister of Transport Zakariya al-Shami on Monday discussed conditions of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs and the difficulties facing it's work.

During the meeting, al Kohlani stressed the important role of Ministry of Transport in advancing the national economy and contributing to the improvement of revenues.

The Finance Minister noted to directives of President of the Supreme Political Council to activate and enable the bodies that serve the community and have an economic nature in order to do their part in serving the overall development process.

In the meeting, the Transport Minister said that the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs contributes to supporting the state treasury despite the aggression and siege.

Al-Shami confirmed the ministry's keenness on combating corruption in all its forms, stressing the need to address the overlaps in the Authority's work to enable it to carry out its tasks to promote and improve the land transport.
