SANA'A April 24. 2024 (Saba) - Abdullah Haider, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Civil Service and Insurance for the Control and Inspection Sector, launched today,Wednesday, the electronic system, developing services and simplifying procedures at the Geological Survey and Mineral Resources Authority.

During the inauguration, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Civil Service indicated that the process of developing services and simplifying procedures in public service units will entail implementing several projects, including job descriptions, performance evaluation, and developing the administrative system.

He pointed to the importance of the electronic system and its role in providing advanced and simplified services, the impact of which is felt by the citizen and contributes to strengthening efforts to rationalize the state’s resources and improve their management.

He stressed that this mechanism comes within the framework of the drive to develop performance, simplify procedures, and enhance job behavior at the level of institutions and entities in general.

For his part, the head of the procedures simplification project, director of planning at the Authority, Ahmed Rashid, pointed out that developing services and simplifying procedures has become an urgent issue in order to keep pace with developments and achieve high levels of quality and improve performance by taking advantage of available modern technologies that contribute to saving time and effort.

He stated that the work on the electronic system, in its first phase, includes human resources systems, internal correspondence, public service, and simplifying procedures.
