SANA'A April 24. 2024 (Saba) - Caretaker Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor praised the executive efforts undertaken by the Ministry of Public Health and Population to translate the directives of His Excellency President Mahdi Muhammad Al-Mashat regarding the free provision of health services in a number of government hospitals.
Dr. Bin Habtoor, during his meeting today,Wednesday, with the Minister of Public Health and Population in the caretaker government, Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakkil, praised the steadfastness of the health sector and the medical, nursing and technical assistance teams in various hospitals , governmental, private health centres, and their continued provision of services despite the aggression and siege over nine years. .
Minister Al-Mutawakkil stated that the Ministry was able to achieve a number of gains within the framework of implementing its annual plan for the benefit of the sector, especially in the field of qualification , training for medical , nursing staff, developing infrastructure , strengthening the supervisory role in a way that serves to enhance the positives and address the negatives in various health institutions.
He touched on the Ministry's interest in the training path for medical and health staff, as it represents great importance in enhancing and developing the overall professional performance of hospitals and health centres.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Hamed Al-Kaf.
