TEHRAN April 19, 2024 (Saba) -The Iranian army announced on Friday that no accident or damage had been recorded in Isfahan province, confirming that the sound of the explosion in the province resulted from the air defense responding to a suspicious object.
Mehr News Agency reported that after hearing a loud sound east of Isfahan, the senior military commander of the Iranian army in Isfahan Province, Brigadier General Siavush Mehan Dost, said: This sound resulted from the air defense in Isfahan’s response to a suspicious object, and no damage or any accident occurred.
Some informed sources have confirmed that, contrary to what the Israeli media is promoting and claiming, there has been no news so far of an attack from abroad on Isfahan or any other part of Iran.
These sources confirmed that Iranian air defenses opened fire in some places such as Isfahan and Tabriz, but this is due to the great sensitivity of the air defense due to the current situation and the “possibility” of seeing some small flying objects.
