MOSCOW May 02. 2024 (Saba) - The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Thursday that units of the "center" group have completely liberated the town of Berdichi in the Donetsk People's Republic.
This came in the daily report of the Russian defense, which added that the group of "center" forces improved its tactical position, and repelled ten counterattacks, inflicting losses on the enemy amounting to about 380 soldiers, while the total Ukrainian losses during the past day reached about 930 military.
Here are the highlights of the Russian defense report: Units of the "West" group improved their position along the front line and repelled five enemy counterattacks in Lugansk and Kharkov province, and the Ukrainian army's losses there exceeded 150 soldiers.
Units of the "South" group of forces took control of more suitable positions and struck formations of mercenaries of the "Foreign Legion", as well as brigades of the Ukrainian forces in the territory of Donetsk, where the enemy lost about 270 soldiers.
Units of the "East" group took control of more suitable positions and enemy losses amounted to about 100 soldiers.
Units of the "Dnieper" group hit with fire gatherings of enemy forces in the Zaporozhye and Kherson provinces, where the enemy lost about 30 soldiers.
Destruction of two US-made HIMARS rocket launchers and a production workshop Rockets and ammunition, a missile and artillery weapons depot of Ukrainian forces, the hitting of Ukrainian military forces and equipment in 117 zones.
