GAZA April 17. 2024 (Saba) - The Ministry of the Interior in Gaza has said that seven Palestinian police officers and members were martyred when the Nazi army bombed officers' vehicle in al-Tuffah neighborhood, eastern Gaza.
In a statement, the ministry said “We condemn the Zionist enemy’s targeting of a number of police officers and members in al-Tuffah neighborhood, eastern Gaza City.”
The ministry pointed out that "the Zionist enemy's focus on repeatedly targeting police officers in all governorates of the Gaza Strip aims to spread chaos among citizens. This new crime is a continuation of the Zionist enemy's disregard for all international laws and norms that criminalize targeting the police as a civil protection device."
It called on international bodies to "put pressure on the Zionist enemy to stop targeting police officers who carry out their civil service duties for the Palestinian people."
In turn, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported in a statement on Tuesday, on Monday, the Zionist enemy committed seven massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, including 68 martyrs and 94 injuries to hospitals during the past 24 hours.”
