RAMALLAH April 29. 2024 (Saba) - The Palestinian Prisoners' Club confirmed on Monday that the majority of the released detainees suffer from obvious health problems, which necessitated the immediate transfer of some of them to hospitals.
According to the Palestinian Information Center, the club said in a press statement that the systematic medical crimes pursued by the enemy against prisoners escalated after the seventh of last October.
The club pointed out that "the policy of starvation, along with medical crimes, are the most prominent policies that have caused clear problems for prisoners in particular in the past few period."
The Palestinian Prisoners' Club renewed its call to the United Nations to open an independent international investigation into the systematic crimes committed against detainees and prisoners in enemy prisons, and to restore its necessary and required role to save what remains of the essence of its work.
It is noteworthy that the number of detainees in the prisons of the Zionist enemy is more than 9,500 detainees, including more than 3,660 administrative detainees until the beginning of April.
