MAHWIT April 16. 2024 (Saba) - The General Authority of Zakat in Al Mahwit province launched today,Tuesday, a project to distribute household gas cylinders to the poor and needy.
At the inauguration, the governor’s representative, Abdul Salam Al-Dhamari, stressed the importance of the project, which contributes to providing the needs of poor families for domestic gas, praising the role of Zakat Authority in caring for the segment of the poor and needy, especially since the country is going through exceptional circumstances as a result of the aggression and siege.
While the Director of Zakat Authority Office, Hamid Al-Radmi, explained that seven thousand and 438 cylinders will be distributed throughout the province’s directorates, indicating that the project targets poor families that were not targeted in the Authority’s projects during the holy month of Ramadan.
