TALKARM May 05. 2024 (Saba) - Local sources in Tulkarm reported that five martyrs had died in the town of Deir al-Ghusoun, northern Tulkarm in the the Zionist enemy forces targeting the house in which they barricaded themselves with a barrage of bullets.
According to what was reported by the Palestinian Information Center on Saturday evening, the Ministry of Health announced the names of the four martyrs, whose bodies were seized by the enemy army, and they are: Tamer Raafat Abdel Rahman Faqha (32 years old), Alaa Adeeb Abdel Jaber Shreiteh (45 years old), and Asal Bashir Tawfiq Badran ( 42 years old, and Adnan Tayseer Kamel Samara (40 years old).
As for the fifth martyr, Red Crescent crews recovered him from under the rubble immediately after the enemy forces withdrew, where his headless body was found. He was transferred to the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in Tulkarm, and his identity is not yet known.
A bulldozer belonging to the Zionist enemy had recovered the body of a martyr, at dawn on Saturday, while demolishing the besieged house in the town, without knowing his identity yet. It threw him on the ground and prevented the ambulance from reaching him.
Immediately after the enemy forces withdrew from the town, citizens, ambulances, civil defense crews, and the municipality rushed to the destroyed house, and began removing the rubble and searching for wounded or martyrs still under the rubble.
A video clip on social media showed Zionist enemy forces shooting at two young men as they were trying to get out from under the rubble of the demolished house, which led to their martyrdom.
Eyewitnesses reported that enemy soldiers initially kidnapped the body of a martyr after abusing him and firing smoke bombs at the place of his martyrdom, while heavy bullets were fired at anyone approaching the place.
The house consists of two floors and belongs to the family of the citizen Bashir Badran, who died years ago, and is inhabited by his two sons, the father of the martyr Fawaz Badran, who was martyred in 2001.
The Zionist enemy forces also arrested the owner of the house, Salama Bashir Badran, a former prisoner, after he emerged from under the rubble. They tied him up, subjected him to investigation and interrogation, and took him to an unknown destination.
The siege of the house and the clash continued for more than 15 hours, during which the enemy bulldozers demolished the largest part of the house in which the resistance fighters were holed up, and also bulldozed its external walls and some of the roads in its vicinity.
The national and Islamic forces in Tulkarm mourned the martyrs of the Deir al-Ghusun massacre, and announced a comprehensive strike tomorrow, Sunday, to mourn the souls of the martyrs.
