LONDON March 27. 2024 (Saba) - Over 130 British Parliamentarians have addressed a message to David Cameron, calling on the foreign secretary to ban arms sales to Israel.
Business as usual, in terms of UK arms exports to Israel, is absolutely unaccepted, the lawmakers said in their letter, according to the Guardian.
UK-made arms are used in Gaza, the letter read, after a UN investigation recently concluded that an F-16 plane (made of British parts) was responsible for bombing British medics.
While violence of the Israeli army is now by far deadlier, the UK government has failed to move, the lawmakers added.
