New York April 27.2024 (Saba) -The students participating in the sit-in at Columbia University announced that “their sit-in will continue until the university withdraws investments from Israel,” in protests in support of the Gaza Strip as a result of the Zionist war.

The students said, in a statement on Friday evening: “The university threatened us with summoning the National Guard to disperse our sit-in,” adding, “We want the university administration to completely withdraw investment from Israel.”

Protests in several American universities witnessed tensions following the suppression of these protests by the American police in several areas.
