SANAA, June 26 (Saba) – The Minister of Transport Zakaria El Shami on Thursday met with the teams of United Nations Development Programme" UNDP" for the support and development of Hodeidah' ports.
The meeting reviewed the technical and professional aspects required by the port in the process of operation and the mechanism of its development and the revival of its navigational activity.
The minister point out that the development plan which prepared by the Red Sea Ports Corporation Depends on three basic stages designed to develop the port.
While the director of UNDP confirmed that they will assess the status of the port of Hodeidah and the basic requirements necessary to start its work.
