In Asir, the army foiled an infiltration of mercenaries off Aleeb crossing killing and injuring tens of them, he said, adding that the army set fire on a military vehicle and destroyed another one, while the artillery force shelled enemy gatherings during the failed attempt.
Another attempt was foiled in Majaza, although it was supported by air cover, he said, adding that the army destroyed an armored fighting vehicle.
15 Zilzal-1 missiles and shells were fired at gatherings of mercenaries off Aleeb crossing, which resulted in killing and wounding tens of them, he said, adding that two others missiles of same type were launched on mercenaries’ troops in Majaza.
Off Najran province, the army stormed sites of mercenaries in Bokaa, killing and wounding tens of them, he said, adding that the mercenaries were inflicted heavy losses during a wide-scale operations launched against their sites in the same province.
The army foiled an infiltration by mercenaries in Reshaha area and launched a counter-attack leaving huge losses in the enemy ranks, he said, adding that the army killed four mercenaries in Boka front, namly : Mohammad Saleh al-Baasy, Yaslam Bo-Ghazy Bo-Sabaa, Mohammad Ali Ramadhan Badabah and Hamzah Salem Ramadhan al-Boury.
In Jizan, a Saudi soldier was killed in Faridhah while another mercenary Sudanese soldier was killed in Hathyrah site, he said, adding that nine mercenaries were gunned down off Qais mount.
He affirmed that the army destroyed a machine gun off Qais mount, when they shelled their gatherings.
He added that its crew’s members was killed.
In Dhalea, the missile force fired three Zizal-1 missiles at gatherings of mercenaries in Mouris front killing and wounding tens of them, he said.
The army killed the mercenary Youssef Ahmad Mohsen “Abou al-Harith”, commander of the enemy so-called 10th Brigade in Al-Hasha front, he affirmed.
In Jawf, the artillery force shelled groups of mercenaries in Sabreen area, Khab Wa Shaaf district, killing and wounding tens of them, he said, affirming that the army foiled another infiltration attempt in Dhaba front, Maoyah area, Taiz province, killing and wounding tens of them.
The artillery force shelled groups of mercenaries and a military vehicle belonging to them east of Nar mount, he said, adding that five mercenaries were killed by the snipers units east of Midi desert.
