SANAA, Jan. 26 (Saba) - Oil prices rose more than 1 percent on Friday amid fears that Venezuela's crude exports could soon be disrupted by unrest in the country.
Brent crude rose $ 61.80 a barrel in the futures contract by 5.75 GMT, up 71 cents, 1.2 percent above the previous settlement.
US West Texas Intermediate crude futures were $ 53.82 a barrel, up 69 cents, or 1.3 percent.
