SANAA, Jan. 23 (Saba) - US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Wess Mitchell, announced his resignation.
The German news agency said that the resignation of Mitchell will become effective from February 15 next.
The US State Department confirmed his resignation today.
Elisabeth Millard, who works for the ministry, is due to take the post temporarily.
