Saada, Nov. 6 (Saba) - The Agriculture and Irrigation Office in Saada province inaugurated on Monday the process of harvesting maize crop in the presence of Governor of Saada Mohammed Jaber Awad, Agriculture Office Director Zakaria Al Mutawakil and Director of DRC Office.
The project, funded by DRC within the humanitarian response to the food crisis, targets 3,000 farmers in most of the provinces' districts with an area of 750 hectares and a total production of two thousand and 880 tons of maize.
Awad praised the efforts made to ensure the success of the project, which contributes to enhancing food security.
