SANA'A, Sept 23 (Saba) - The Sana'a people scored a valuable win over their rivals Yarmouk 2-1 in a match played on Saturdayat the end of the first round of the Al-Saqqaf Snow Football Tournament.

Al-Yarmouk made the first goal through player Ali al-Sukkary, who was alone in the goalkeeper Salah Al-Sisi to put the ball in the net at the tenth minute, before the people scored the equalizer scored by Zakaria Tawaf in the 15th minute, to end the first half in this way.

In the second half, in the 60th minute, the pressure of the people on Yarmouk's goal resulted in Yahia Al-Sakani's goal of progress and victory.

Yarmouk player Ali al-Sukkary almost changed the score without the intervention of the defender Jalal al-Baydani, who kept the ball away from the goal, ending the match by beating the people on Yarmouk with two goals for one goal.

With this result, the people won the first three points, finishing second, and Yarmouk came in fifth place without points.

The Sanaa team had won the Tihama star team seven goals against one goal, to top the standings by goal difference from the people's team.

On the sidelines of the match was held a press conference where the coach of the people Ali Obeidi that the victory of his team came as a result of the performance of the players appeared throughout the game.

He stressed that despite the short preparation period, the players overcame the odds and managed to turn the result from a loss to a goal to win with two goals.

Al-Yarmouk coach Dr. Fouad Al-Oudi attributed the loss to a short period of preparation which caused the team to perform physically during the course of the shooting.

"Most of the players in the team, especially the experienced, did not reach the required readiness and therefore did not provide the required performance," he said adding "We await their arrival to the optimum readiness in the rest of the tournament stages."
