BAYDA, Aug. 19 (Saba) – The army and popular committees on Sunday repelled an infiltration by Saudi-paid mercenaries in Nata area of Bayda province, a military official told Saba.
Several of the mercenaries were killed and other injured, including an officer, during the repelling operation, the official said.
Meanwhile, number of mercenaries were shot dead in sniping operations, while the artillery of the army shelled gatherings of mercenaries in Fathha area.
