
AMRNA, Aug. 16 (Saba) – Amran governor Faisal Ja'man and Secretary-General of the province Saleh Al-Makhlous, inaugurated on Wednesday the project distribution of grain seeds of wheat, barley and fertilizer materials to farmers in agricultural areas funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross.
During the inauguration, the Governor and the Secretary-General of province stressed the importance of this project, which comes within the framework of the process of encouraging and supporting the various farmers in the province, especially the farmers in Kaa Bon area to expand cultivation of grains and vegetables.
They urged farmers to the need for self-development and rising up performance's level in agriculture field and update its inputs and expand its output.
38 tons of grain seeds and 17 tons of fertilizers will be distributed, from which will benefit more than two thousand farms in nine district targeted by the project.
