SANA'A, March 04 (Saba) - Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf Abdullah on Saturday expressed strong condemnation by the Supreme Political Council and the National Salvation Government over postponing salaries of the state employees by the group of fugitive Hadi.

In a press statement to Saba, the minister called on the United Nations and the 18 countries sponsoring the political settlement in Yemen, especially Russia, to pressure Hadi's group to fulfill its commitments to pay salaries of the state employees from the newly-printed 400 billion Yemeni Riyal that were recently printed by Russia and delivered to the Yemeni Central Bank in Aden.

The minister reaffirmed that lists of the state employees have been submitted to the United Nations in several occasions, including the recent official visit to Yemen by the USG/ERC for Humanitarian affairs, Stephen O'Brien.

Minister Sharaf stressed that Hadi group does not care of the suffering of the Yemeni people and instead is delaying payment of the state employees' salaries.

The minister stressed that the National Salvation Government will spare no effort to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people in accordance with the available possibilities available, holding fugitive Hadi and his group the responsibility of the humanitarian crisis that could be resulted by such irresponsible action.
