TAIZ, March 1 (Saba) –Taiz governor Abdu Mohammed al-Janadi met Under Secretary-General and Emergency Relief Coordinator Stephen O'Brien to discuss humanitarian situations in the province of Taiz.
In the meeting which took place on Tuesday, the governor reviewed the difficult humanitarian situations Taiz faced, particularly the internal displaced people, due to the Saudi barbaric aggression against Yemen.
the governor demanded the UN to stand in the face of Saudi aggression, provide relief and humanitarian aid to the hard-hit province, and help lift the unjust all-out blockade that are causing large suffering among the citizens.
O'Brien said he would work to improve the humanitarian situation and cooperate with the local authorities to overcome the current situation.
