ABYAN, Jan. 29 (Saba) - A security leader of the Saudi-paid mercenaries in Abyan province was killed in an ambush, local sources said on Sunday.
Armed men believed to be from al-Qaeda ambushed Saturday afternoon a military patrol, on which was chief of the security cordon around Lauder city "Rushdi al-Alwani", while he was coming from Aden province.
Three of his escorts were killed as well.
Security chaos prevails in the southern provinces, which are under the control of the occupation forces.
