[27/ January/2017]

SANA’A, Jan. 26 (Saba) – Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday confirmed the air navigatin safety at the Sana’a International Airport in the capital to receive humanitarian aid, in a statement received by Saba.

In the statement, the ministry renewed its call to the international community and the United Nations to put pressure for immediate end to the Saudi-led aggression war against the Yemeni people and lift the air, sea and land commercial blockade imposed by the Saudi aggression on the Yemeni people since two years ago, which has caused widespread famine among millions of Yemenis.

The ministry also denied propaganda circulated by the Saudi-paid mercenary media about the safety of the Sana’a international airport, which the ministry said the Saudi-paid propaganda aims to make Yemenis suffer more from the ongoing food shortage and push them to starve to death.

“The airport is completely ready to receive all humanitarian aid planes, import food and medicine and airlift patients overseas to receive medical treatment,” the ministry reaffirmed.
