TAIZ, Jan. 24 (Saba) - A large number of Saudi-paid mercenaries were killed and injured during their attempt to advance towards al-Tabah al-Sawdah and al-Maayer zone in Usiferah area in Taiz city.
The official added that the army and popular forces defeated groups of Saudi- paid mercenaries at the parts of al-Jadeed and al-Kadaha area towards Thubab district.
Saudi-paid mercenaries were inflicted big losses and ordnance by the army and popular forces, he said.
