SANA'A, Jan. 24 (Saba) - Minister of Foreign Affairs Hisham Sharaf met on Tuesday the Chargé d'affaires of the Russian Embassy Andrei Chernfall.
During the meeting, they discussed the results of the visit of the UN Special Envoy for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed.
Sharaf appreciated positive play played by Russia for the sake of lifting siege imposed on Yemen order to achieve a peaceful political settlement.
For his part, the Russian diplomat stressed the need to lift the restrictions imposed immediately against the international airport of Sana'a in order to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Yemen.
