TAIZ, Jan. 09 (Saba) - Brigadier Ahmed Abdullah Turki, the commander of 3rd Brigade located in Bab al-Mandab area of Taiz province, was injured on Sunday, an army official said Monday.
Turki succeeded Omer al-Subaihi, who was killed on Sunday clashes with the army and popular forces in Thubab and Kahbob front. Many soldiers, including his personal escort Mohammed al-Turki, were killed.
Moreover, mercenary colonel "Nasser al-Kazmi", the commander of the 3rd battalion in the 1st Brigade called "Zaid", was wounded and a number of his escorts were killed by the national army and popular forces in the same area.
