SHABWA, Jan. 04 (Saba) – The army and popular forces foiled Saudi-paid mercenaries' attempt to advance on al-Saq area in Baihan district of Shabwa province overnight, a military official told Saba on Wednesday.
At least 16 mercenaries were killed, including the leader of what so-called the fifth battalion Saleh Musad Bahibah, and 20 others wounded and two of their military vehicles were destroyed during the confrontations, the official said.
