SANA'A, Jan. 01 (Saba) – Vice-President of the Supreme Political Council Dr. Qasim Labuza chaired a meeting on Sunday to discuss the financial situation and the field victories in the different fronts.
In the meeting, which was attended by Prime Minister Dr. Abdul Aziz bin Habtoor and Defense Minister Maj. Gen. Mohammed al-Aatefi and Deputy Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Ali al-Moshki, Dr. Labuza listened to a briefing from Finance Minister Dr. Saleh Shaban.
Dr. Shaban reviewed the urgent operational procedures taken by his Ministry to address the cash crisis and pay the state employees' salaries, as well as enhancing the revenues and facing the economic war being waged on Yemen by the US-Backed Saudi aggression.
Speaking to the meeting, the defense minister touched upon the victories and field progress that have been achieved by army and popular forces in the different fronts.
The vice-president urged to speed the application of modern electronic services in the financial work to continue providing cash and ease the burden on citizens.
He hailed the important successes achieved by the government in a short period from the declaration of its overall program, especially in the financial side.
Dr. Labuza said that salaries will be disbursed to all the state employees and members of the army and security in all provinces.
He also directed the Defense Ministry in coordination with the Finance Ministry to prepare a comprehensive plan to combat tax and customs evasion so as to contribute the support of the public finance revenues.
