SANAA, Nov. 30 (Saba) – Leader of the revolution Abdulmalik al-Houthi congratulated the Yemeni people on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the independence day, when Yemen got freedom from Britain in 30th November 1967, as well the formation of the new national salvation government.
Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi gave his speech to the nation late on Tuesday on the eve of the independence day which also coincided with the formation of the new national salvation government that designed to bring peace to the Yemeni people and confront the barbaric aggression led by US-backed Saudi Arabia.
The leader called on the Yemeni people to take advantage from this precious independent anniversary and pay more efforts to confront the new invasion and occupation by the US-Israeli backed enemy Saudi Arabia.
"The aggression coalition countries are seeking to completely occupy our all homeland and enslave our free Muslim people whose value principles force the defense of ourselves," Sayyed al-Houthi told the nation.
"The step of forming the government stressed the giant importance of reinforcing our domestic position and serving our people, despite the difficult economic situation imposed by the aggression coalition," the leader said.
The revolutionary leader called on the nation to take into the streets in a mass rally to celebrate the independence day, the formation of the national salvation government and to strongly condemn the barbaric aggression and blockade.
