SANA’A, Nov. 11 (Saba) – Chairman of the High Revolutionary Committee (HRC) Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi has put responsibility on the United Nations and the United Nations Security Council to stop the aggression and crimes committed against the Yemeni people by the Saudi coalition.
In a protest letter sent to the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon on Wednesday, Al-Houthi expressed aspiration of the Yemeni people that the UN will do their obligation regarding the aggression crimes which are a stain on the conscience of the international community.
He pointed out that Yemenis are shocked by the silence of the international community while genocides and war crimes are committed against Yemen’s sovereignty and independence, and that the UN is unable to stop those crimes or even conduct an international investigation on the crimes committed.
