A workshop for a number of cadres and "Knights of Development" from Aden, Al-Dhale’, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout, and Lahj provinces concluded on Monday , focusing on enhancing community participation and supporting volunteer work.
At the closing session, Nasser Al-Mahdar, Deputy Minister of Administration and Local and Rural Development, emphasized that the 10-day workshop aimed to build the capacities of 34 cadres and knights from the occupied provinces to strengthen community engagement and volunteer work in local and rural development and service improvement.
He expressed hope that the workshop’s outcomes would positively impact developmental and service performance in these governorates, ultimately benefiting citizens.
For his part, Deputy Minister of Interior Major General Abdulmajeed Al-Murtada commended the efforts of the Ministry of Administration and Local and Rural Development in building the capacities of cadres from the occupied governorates.
He stressed the importance of upholding religious and national responsibilities and adhering to Quranic principles, which have enabled Yemen to take a unique and advanced stance in supporting the Palestinian cause and the people of Gaza against American-Zionist aggression.
He also addressed the security disruptions and economic deterioration in the occupied governorates, contrasting them with the stability witnessed in the liberated provinces.
