The local authority in Bani Al-Harith District of the Capital Secretariat today launched the activities commemorating the blessed anniversary of the Prophet’s Birthday (Mawlid al-Nabi) for the year 1447 AH.
During the inauguration, Shura Council member Adel Al-Hanbasi emphasized the importance of community engagement and broad participation in the Prophet’s Birthday celebrations, reflecting the deep connection of the Yemeni people with the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and their commitment to following his teachings in both word and deed.
Meanwhile, Capital Sanaa Deputy Mohammed Saree stressed the significance of commemorating the birth of the Greatest Prophet (PBUH) as a spiritual occasion to reinforce the values and morals of the Prophet’s tradition, and to adhere to his eternal message, which brought humanity out of darkness into light.
He called on everyone to prepare well for organizing celebratory events and activities in honor of the Prophet’s Birthday, ensuring that expressions of joy are displayed across all neighborhoods and areas of the district in a manner befitting the stature and love of the Noble Prophet (PBUH).
