Real Madrid announced on Sunday that French player Eduardo Camavinga has suffered a sprained ankle.
Real Madrid said in a statement on its website, "Tests carried out by Real Madrid's medical staff on Eduardo Camavinga have revealed a sprain in his right ankle."
Real Madrid did not reveal the length of his absence, but Spanish media reported that recovery from this injury would take ten days.
Real Madrid will begin its league campaign this season against Osasuna on the 19th of this month.
