Gaza – Saba:
The spokesperson for the Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip, Mahmoud Basal, warned on Sunday that the work of rescue teams could come to a complete halt if the fuel needed to operate their equipment is not delivered.
In a statement to Al Jazeera, Basal said the Civil Defense is receiving urgent rescue appeals, including a case involving two children trapped for 14 days on Salah al-Din Street.
He stressed that the ongoing fuel shortage is severely hindering rescue and relief operations.
