Salfit / Northern Jordan Valley – (Saba):

Today, Sunday, Zionist settler attacks on Palestinian properties in the occupied West Bank continued.

Settlers set fire to the property of Palestinian citizen Abdul Aziz Shaqir in the town of Al-Zawiya west of Salfit and forcibly expelled him from his land.

According to the official Palestinian news agency, Shaqir said a group of settlers stormed the “Khalat Hamad” area west of the town, set fire to an agricultural barracks containing equipment and tools, burned eight ancient olive trees, and damaged a rainwater collection well, causing significant material losses.

He added that settlers assaulted him and his family members, forcibly evicting them from their land where they have lived for decades and depend on for livestock grazing. He noted this was the second such incident this year.

In Northern Jordan Valley, teams from the so-called “Settlement Council” stormed the Al-Mita area today and began filming residents’ homes.

Local sources reported the teams invaded the Al-Malih gathering area and started photographing houses amid almost daily settler incursions and attacks.

The northern Jordan Valley areas regularly suffer settler assaults, including attacking Palestinian homes and residents, stealing and destroying property, and chasing herders, attacking them and their livestock in grazing areas.
