Tehran - Saba:
Iranian MP Alaaeddin Boroujerdi, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, stated on Sunday that Iran categorically rejects any geopolitical changes to its borders, emphasizing that only officially recognized Armenian territories adjacent to Iran will be tolerated.
In remarks carried by Mehr News Agency, Boroujerdi declared: "Iran's national security requires maintaining current political and geographical borders. Any transit route established in the region must not violate Armenia’s territorial integrity."
He noted that *"Armenia itself is more sensitive to this issue than any other party," while warning that past regional experiences prove "even private U.S. companies’ presence has fueled instability—Tehran won’t tolerate border security threats."
Boroujerdi underscored: "Iran’s red line is border security. Americans, in any form, pose a direct threat to regional stability."
